Hi Everybody!
The general trend was thought to be that summers are slower for most marketing agencies. But here at Sequentia, summers are usually incredibly busy as many of our clients gear up for the fall. And this summer is no exception!So while we’re working away (and trying to catch a few rays as we do so), we’re going to let Sequences take a summer vacation until our next new issue in September.  You came, you saw, you celebrated! It was a great party. Thanks to those who were here in body, and those who were here in spirit, for the Sequentia / Swing / Market Yourself Smarter Open House on June 8th. It was a huge success. Comings and goings. Sacha DeGroot, Media Relations Manager at Sequentia, has left us for a year's Maternity Leave. At time of writing, no baby yet, but we'll keep you posted. Sequentia is pleased to welcome Aine Magennis to the team as Public Relations Account Director. With over 6 years experience in Public Relations, Aine comes to Sequentia with wide-ranging agency and corporate experience both in Canada and abroad. Who's that guy? Sequentia warmly welcomes our summer intern, Daniel Salb. He is currently studying Business Administration at Georgian College in Barrie. Moving on: Maggie Fairs, Public Relations Account Manager for more than a year, is moving on to pursue other interests, including her not-for-profit organization, The Media Foundation. Good luck Maggie! Timewasters: No TV, no worries!
 With the World Cup down to the semi-finals and no plasma screen in house to catch the games during specially organized "meetings", we've turned to the live match blog as the next best way to follow the action. Off the cuff, cheeky and fun, the match blog is the perfect blend of update, commentary and entertainment. For a homegrown take on the action we recommend CBC's Cup Commentary, while the minute-by-minute reports from match blog pioneers Guardian Unlimited are light on football but heavy on humour.
